NSA spying announced Unconstitutional
In a ruling being considered as a major
setback to the Obama administration, Federal district Judge Richard Leon has
ruled that the snooping of phone records being arbitrary invasion of American
citizens privacy and Unconstitutional.
National Security Agency metadata
collection trove included records of calls being made, telephone numbers, dates
of calls which had been exposed by
ex-CIA analyst Edward Snowden who is now in Russia as a asylum.
The order had been passed in the lawsuit
filed by conservative Larry Klayman. Judge Leon had also questioned the
efficiency of metadata collection in counter terror attacks.
