Honda Vezel to be launched in US and EU by 2015

Growing subcompact SUV/crossover segment in Europe will have a new contender by early 2015 as Honda has announced its intention for sale its Tokyo-hit model Vezel in EU by early 2015. The move will be crucial in Honda’s drive to enhance global sales to 6 million vehicles in the financial year 2016-17, up by 2 million from 4.01 million in the financial year 2012-13.

Chief Engineer, Yoshiharu Itai, had earlier said the proposal is in its early stage and company have not yet decided on engine, auto-specifications and naming of the model.

Vezel will be available in US markets by mid 2014.
